Our organization consists of members from all walks of life. We are members of the military, law enforcement officers, retirees, and many civilians. What we all have in common is an interest to preserve our military heritage and to share it with the public, to educate and to honor our veterans. Membership is open to anyone who would like to help with our preservation effort, whether you own military vehicles, would just like to come out and help, or are looking to get started in re-enactment.
How to Join

If you are interested in joining the Virginia Military Preservation Association, you should know that we offer two levels of membership: full membership and associate membership.

Full membership is open to anyone who would like to have voting rights in the organization. The cost of this type of membership is $20 a year and your presence at membership meetings is required so you are up do date on ongoing projects and issues and can vote accordingly. You do not have to own a vehicle or display equipment to become a full member of the organization, but you do have to pay the fee and attend the meetings.

Associate membership is open to anyone who would like to participate in events and come out and do things with the association. This level of membership is free and open to anyone who is interested.

To become a member, please download the form below, print it, fill it in, and mail it to the address provided at the end of the form. If you're choosing to become a full member, please do not include the $20 membership fee with your application. The fee is not due until you have been approved as a member.
